Quintum (クゥィントゥム Kuuintumu) is the second Averruncus of Wind. He has the same hairstyle as Secundum, the first Averruncus of wind.

Personality

Quintum's personality is very similar to Fate's personality when he first appeared, however he loses his temper when he believes Fate betrayed Cosmo Entelecheia.

Plots

Quintum defeats Kaede

He first appears in chapter 311 in the manga, where he hits Nodoka with a lightning spell and seizes the Great Grandmaster Key. He subsequently defeats Kaede (albeit she manages to retrieve the Key), Kotarou, Asakura, Yue, and Makie, before encountering Fate "Tertium" Averruncus. In the following fight, he has the upper hand for a while, but is defeated with a powerful punch that made a huge hole in his left side and blew his arm off.

Later when the Mage of the Beginning awaken, Quintum's arm and injures are healed along with the other Avveruncus. Thought it's easily defeated by Evangeline A.K. McDowell by frozen into a ice.

UQ Holder!

Quintum make a cameo appearance in Chapter 139 of UQ Holder!.

Trivia

• Like his companions, his name is derived from numbers, and in this case from the latin word for "fifth", as he is the fifth generation Averruncus.
• In a way, Quintum was Fate's younger brother due to the similarities in both appearance and personality.
  • Quintum also shared same seiyuu with Fate, Akira Ishida. Although it was left uncredited in the movie.
