Creator of Mundus Magicus and Founder of Cosmo Entelecheia
The Life-Maker, properly known as the Mage of the Beginning, is a very important character in Negima! and the secondary antagonist of the series (with Fate Averruncus being the main villain). The Averruncus_(series_of_constructs) are his special creations that serve him without question, with the likely exception of Tertium).
Powers & Abilities
As the most powerful archmage in existence, he can transfer his soul into other bodies when he dies (apparently into the one that killed him), thus explaining his possesion of Nagi Springfield and Filius Zect. This is essentially a form of resurrective skill. He also has many other powers and abilities.

- There is no proper explanation of his past, though he appears to be the direct ancestor of Negi and Asuna.
- He is responsible for Eva becoming a vampire.
- Though there is no way to confirm such speculation, it is plausible to assume that the Mage of the Beginning can resurrect himself again should he be able to get his hands on another puppet.
- In UQ Holder!, the sequel to Negima!, it is revealed that the Mage of the Beginning was still active on the year 2065.
