The Kansai Magic Association (also known as the Kansai Onmyodo Association) is a magic association and sect located in Kyoto.
Tension between the Kansai magic association (in Kyoto) and the Kanto magic association (in Tokyo) stem from centuries of rivalry between the two geographic locations.
Proud of their area's tradition and historic culture, the Kansai association loathes the Kanto association's adoption of western magic; seeing the adoption of foreign methods as the sect all but abandoning Japan's traditions and history for the west.
Instead of the western Partner system, the Kansai association uses Onmyodo magic and talismans to summon shikigami demons to act as their protectors during battle.
- The association is currently led by Eishun Konoe, a Shinmei-ryū practitioner and previously a member of the Ala Rubra.
- Konoka Konoe was born and grew up in the Kansai Magic Association before moving to the Mahora Academy.
